"Nutritional cleansing is a method of using certain nutrition and lifestyle guidelines that have been found to be effective for flushing the body of built-up toxins. This is done through a two-fold process. First, you intentionally minimize certain foods, habits, and influences for a designated period of time. Second, you intentionally bring in food, habits, and techniques that are well known to cleanse, nourish, and regenerate the body."

Some people associate cleansing with fasting or near-fasting and the myriad of unpleasant detox symptoms that can accompany that, but the Nutritional E-Cleanse Program is ALL about learning to eat for optimal health. My goal is 3-fold:

  1. To educate participants about the 10 "nutritional bandits" (unfiltered water, alcohol, caffeine, sugar, gluten, refined/processed foods, dairy, beef/pork, unhealthy fats, and chemical stressors) and how they rob us of our health when consumed on a regular basis. 
  2. To teach how to eat for optimal health using real, whole foods in a balanced way to support adequate nutrition and blood sugar balance.
  3. To support people as they make this transition - first reducing and then eliminating the "bandits" while replacing them with nutritious foods for a gentle cleanse - with coaching, compassion, and humor.
